For ninety years, Winnebago Lutheran Academy has existed “to glorify God by nurturing the growth of every student to live and serve as Christ’s child within their families, congregations, and communities.” How lavishly our gracious God has blessed us in this mission, guiding us every step of the way.
In its sixth year in 2015, The Event has existed to aid WLA in carrying out this mission, providing funds and support to the WLA Endowment Fund as well as to several projects who advance the mission of our Academy. To date, $99,069.00 in support has been placed directly in the Endowment Fund as a direct result of EVENT support, which has also raised $37,529.00 for special projects and wish list items. To God be praise for these gifts to our Academy.
Please join with us again this year as the sixth annual The Event takes place at South Hills Country Club on Saturday night, April 25th. It will be a night of food, fun, fellowship, and another opportunity to celebrate the Academy we hold so dear.
