The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) includes a Reading Test, a Writing and Language Test, and a Math Test. The PSAT/NMSQT is the means to enter the National Merit Scholarship Program and compete for national recognition and college scholarships.

Understanding your PSAT/NMSQT Score Report

The ACT contains multiple-choice tests in four areas: English, mathematics, reading, and science plus a writing test. It is accepted by any university, college, or technical school which requires a standardized test for admission.
