Jesus said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.  Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Mat. 9:37-38)  What is it like to serve the Lord as a pastor or teacher?  WLA seeks to give students a glimpse of this kind of service through various activities.  Students may participate in Pastor/Teacher for-a-day, visits to Martin Luther College, early foreign-language experience and visits with pastors and teachers on staff.
